This listing is for the 2025 HWC Christmas Raffle, introduced at our Handmade Market. Most of the beautiful items included in the prize packs have been generously donated by our talented stallholders, making this raffle a true celebration of local creativity and community spirit.

There are three fantastic prize packs to be won, each filled with a stunning variety of goodies including jewellery, candles, a handmade quilt, bags, home décor pieces, cosmetic and pampering items, notebooks, cards, olive oil, and so much more. Each prize pack is unique, overflowing with thoughtful, handcrafted and high-quality items.

Every ticket sold directly supports the Heretaunga Women’s Centre, helping us continue to provide a warm, safe and empowering space where wāhine can connect, learn, grow and access essential support services throughout the year. Your contribution truly makes a difference.

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: The raffle is open to individuals aged 18 years or older. Employees, committee members, volunteers and contractors of Heretaunga Women’s Centre, and their immediate family members, ARE eligible to participate.
2. Raffle Period: Tickets will be sold from Sunday 30th November 2025 until 9am, Monday 15th December 2025. No entries will be accepted after the closing date.
3. Ticket Purchases: Each raffle ticket costs $5.00, or $10.00 for 3 tickets. Tickets may be purchased in person at Heretaunga Women’s Centre, at a HWC public stall, or online at www.heretaungawomenscentre.nz.
4. Prizes: There are three prize packs, each containing various goods donated by the stallholders of the HWC Handmade Market. Any vouchers included within a prize pack are valid only until the expiry date listed on the voucher. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substitutes. The first prize winner will choose one of the three prize packs. The second prize winner will choose from the remaining two. The third prize winner will receive the final prize pack.
5. Drawing the Winner: Winners will be drawn at random at Hastings Police Station on Monday 15th December 2025. Winners do not need to be present.
6. Notification: Winners will be notified via email or telephone within 24 hours. If a winner cannot be contacted within one week, the prize may be forfeited and redrawn.
7. Prize Collection: Prizes must be collected from the Heretaunga Women’s Centre by Thursday 18th December 2025. Uncollected prizes will be forfeited. If postage or courier is required, this will be at the winner’s expense. Prizes can only be sent to valid New Zealand addresses. HWC accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged items during delivery.
8. Liability: Heretaunga Women’s Centre is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the raffle or from the use of prizes.
9. Modifications: Heretaunga Women’s Centre reserves the right to modify or cancel the raffle at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
10. Acceptance: By purchasing a raffle ticket, participants acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
