It is with a sad heart today that we share the news of the passing of Kay Whelan. Kay was a women with a true community spirit, who was driven by her strong beliefs in justice, fairness, knowledge and kindness. Kay used these attributes tirelessly to bring about community change.
Kay had been very involved with the Heretaunga Women’s Centre for many years supporting women in a volunteering capacity.
A celebration of Kay’s life will be held at the Cheval Rooms, Hastings, on Friday 6th November, at 10.00am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cranford Hospice.
