Brenda grew up in Omahu and has been a dedicated volunteer at HWC since around 2017. On Friday afternoons, you can find her friendly face at the HWC reception and she regularly
teaches harakeke weaving courses.
Having used our services herself before volunteering, Brenda says HWC is a special place for her and her whānau. She loves meeting a diverse range of women at the Centre and is passionate about the programmes offered. In her free time, Brenda enjoys weaving, reading, and playing the ukulele.
