Exhibition space available at the Centre – Art in the Hallways

We have a lovely well lit space in our huge hallway, and our plan is that we would like to use this as an exhibition space for emerging and established women artists. We will offer you/them the opportunity to have an exhibition in this space for a two week period. We will not charge a commission for the use of the space – but do charge 20% commission on work sold.  We run the space from February to December, every year.

• Each artist will be nominated a two-week period for their art to be on display.
• There is no restriction on the number of pieces they hang – as long as it fits down the hallway.
• Each artist will be responsible for hanging their own work on the Monday of the two-week period and will take it down on the Friday at the end of the two weeks.
• Art that is exhibited may be for sale but doesn’t need to be.
• There is no cost for having  art in our hallway but for any artwork sold, the Centre will retain a 20% commission.
• Once someone purchases a piece of art, they can take it as soon as it has been paid for.
• The artist is more than welcome to put another piece of art up in the sold one’s place.
• The Centre will manage the art sales and we will pay the artist the sale price (less a 20% commission) within 7 days following their two-week display period.
• Before art can be displayed, each artist must fill in the terms and conditions form.
